With the gradual decrease of oil and gas resources on land, countries around the world have long looked to the sea. Different from onshore drilling platforms, offshore drilling platforms have limited space and are called "mobile offshore land".

The development of offshore NG is considered as one of the most promising energy industries.In addition to building fixed platforms, FPSO(Floating Production Storage and Offloading)、FLNG(floating liquefied natural gas system)、FSRU(Floating Storage and Regasification Unit)is also a key facility for offshore gas and oil development, which is mainly used for the exploitation, processing, storage and export of offshore oil, gas and other energy sources.This LNG production method has a great advantage that it does not need to transfer NG from offshore to onshore plants for liquefaction. FPSO can also transport LNG to another ship, which is a very cost-effective method.

Whether the offshore NG production platform is built or the offshore floating production and storage vessel is selected, the equipment selected in the process system of developing submarine oil and gas resources must be installed on a small platform or ship. Therefore, there are certain technical restrictions on the selected equipment, namely:
1. Equipment weight
2. Compactness of equipment structure
3. Safety of equipment
1. Introduction of GOT PCHE
The processing technology of GOT PCHE (printed circuit heat exchangers ) is similar to that of chips,It is to use chemical etching technology to etch heat exchange unit channels of micrometer to millimeter scale on the metal sheet to produce heat exchange core plates.Then stack the cold and hot core plates of different flow channel forms alternately,through diffusion bonding technology, the adjacent core plates are closely combined to form a heat exchange core.

The outstanding characteristics of GOT PCHE (printed circuit heat exchangers ) are large heat exchange area (usually more than ten times of the conventional heat exchanger), small size (one tenth or less of the conventional heat exchanger), light weight, high heat exchange efficiency (up to 98-99%), small heat transfer temperature difference (2~5 ℃), strong pressure bearing capacity (up to 110 MPa), low cost (can greatly save manufacturing raw materials and energy consumption), safety and easy maintenance, etc.

2.GOT PCHE promotes the development of marine industry
In the offshore oil and gas process system, the number of heat exchangers is large, which is one of the large and heavy equipment. Using GOT PCHE to replace the Conventional heat exchanger can greatly reduce the weight of the heat exchanger, reduce the foot print of the equipment, improve the safety and stability of the heat exchanger, and reduce the procurement cost and maintenance cost of the equipment.
